Under new Management, The Oak is now one of Launceston's premier live music venues. With a full refurbishment of the large "Oak Shed" Band Room, live music can continue to safely entertain locals and support great Aussie talent.

Bookings are available for a minimum of 2 guests, seating for large groups may be limited due to current or changing Covid restrictions.

Live music hub, Sunday lunch destination, superior local — The Royal Oak is many things to many people. It's also home to one of the best and local craft beer lists in town. Amid a classic pub setting, you'll find a generous range of breweries represented, on tap or bottled — including the likes of T-Bone, Boags, Moo Brew from Hobart,  Willie Smith's Organic Apple Cider, Gillespie's Ginger Beer and Launceston's Kick Snare.
